(b) Usage data — session scores, subjects practiced, and activity completion. We do NOT collect payment information, location data, or any sensitive personal data.
2. Children's Data (COPPA Compliance)
Zoomlings complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Student accounts must be created by a parent or teacher. Student data is used solely for educational progress tracking and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Zoomlings service; send account-related emails (verification, password reset, waitlist confirmation); track student learning progress for parents and teachers; generate AI-powered questions appropriate to each grade level.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., email delivery), under strict confidentiality agreements.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including bcrypt password hashing, JWT authentication with expiry, HTTPS encryption, and rate limiting on authentication endpoints. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].

We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
